A weight plate bicep curl is a strength training exercise that targets the biceps, the muscles located on the front of your upper arms. This exercise involves the use of a weight plate, typically made of iron or other heavy materials, as resistance to challenge and strengthen the biceps.
Let's get started by grabbing your weight plate and having it on your lap with your arms as straight as you can.
This is the starting position.
From here curl the plate up, by bending at the elbow until the arms are fully flexed or as high as you can. Once done, return the plate back down safely to your lap. This is one repetition, now repeat this for the desired amount.
You can change the intensity of this exercise by increasing or decreasing the weight of the weight plate.
