Land swimming is a form of exercise and movement that mimics the motions of swimming while on dry land. It is typically performed as a cardiovascular workout and can be an effective way to improve swimming technique, endurance, and overall fitness. Land swimming is especially beneficial for individuals who may not have access to a pool or prefer a low-impact exercise option.
First, Hold both arms down by your side with a slight bend in your elbow.
This is the starting position.
From here, swing one arm back, up and over your shoulder, then press the hand forward. After this pull your hand back into the starting position. As you are doing this simultaneously move the other arm but at the opposite point. Then repeat and continue the exercise for the allotted time. You can increase the difficulty by using wrist weights.
