Ball Overhead Front Raise

Overview

Medicine ball resistance training is a type of exercise that involves using a medicine ball to add resistance to various strength exercises. The medicine ball, a weighted ball available in different sizes and weights, provides an additional challenge to traditional bodyweight exercises, making them more effective for building strength and power.

Description

Let's get started by grabbing your ball and having it on your lap with your arms as straight as you can.

This is the starting position.

From here, raise the ball up whilst keeping the arms straight, up above your head or as high as you can. Once done, return the ball back down safely to your lap. This is one repetition, now repeat this for the desired amount.

You can change the intensity of this exercise by increasing or decreasing the weight of the ball.
